Tauranga Accommodation Review

Our room was huge and catered for 3 girls easily. Reasonably quiet too.

Quite a popular spot as has many people staying. All in all a good place to stay!

The Motor Inn was a nice and cozy place at an excellent price. The room was clean with comfy beds, a nice bathroom and also the staff were very friendly. The TV was excellent and there was no noise from the other rooms even though there appeared to be a lot of people staying there.

It would of have been nice had there had been a fridge so that I could keep my drinks cold (during the hot weather) and my ice pack frozen. In addition, I had a similar problem with having to use the kettle either on the floor or in the bathroom where it just fit next to the sink. The main problem we encountered was that we booked for a room with one queen bed, however two king sized single beds were supplied. When we went to ask for a queen sized bed they said they did not have any available.

The woman who we asked was very apologetic and friendly but she couldn’t resolve our problem. This was frustrating at first however we just put the beds together and all was fine. Overall it is a great place in a great location which I would recommend to anyone looking for some where that has good quality at a very good price. Enjoyed the stay, nice and clean comfy beds , staff friendly , breakfast fantanstic and reseasonal price.

The only thing missing was the fridge in the room also had to put the kettle on the floor to boil (for that much needed cuppa ( and dangerious for us oldies) would highly recommend to all.

I would like to thank you so much for the wonderful assistance you gave us on Monday for Regan’s wedding.

Shirley, please pass this thanks on to Christine the events organiser, and Jenny who was on duty in the restaurant.

We were totally put out with our planning by the weather on Monday, and when Ken phoned Christine, she was so helpful and wonderful and to have the Oak room set up for us to hold the ceremony there was great. I was so pleased to step into the foyer and see the sign pointing our guests into the Oakroom.

We enjoyed having our buffet lunch in the E section, which Jenny hastily added a couple of tables to, and the food was superb.  We were on a very tight budget, but to have all your assistance made the day a dream come true for Regan and Rossco.

Thanks so much,  really, an email doesn’t cover how we are so grateful.
